Review: Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies

Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies

Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies by J.K. Rowling

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

English is not my native language. Sorry for any grammar error.

Now THIS is what we’re talking about. Although this is not a novel nor a story, but a collection of biographys and information from ROWLING HERSELF this is one of the HAVE-TO-READ books in order to know even more about the entire Potterverse.

The backstory of McGonagall and the reason why she’s the way she is, even her name. The story of Remus Lupin and the Lycantrophy (even the thoughts of Rowling about the lycantrophy and the comparison with deseases that cast away people for no reason) and the story of Sybill Trelawney are short but all so wort reading for. This book took me 2 hours to read (And I believe I was reading fast because I had already read some of this entries at the Pottermore page)

But even if they were at that page, the new layout makes it hard to find this beautifully written stories. I’m not even sure if they’re still there.

Long story short: Any fan MUST read this, it cleanses mistakes and headcanons that makes them canon, like the so believed hatred of Remus parents towards their son for being a werewolf… read to find out the truth.

Hands down this book goes right towards my beloved collection among the Quidditch through the ages and Fantastic beasts and where to find them ones.

Give me more canon content that will make the potterverse even more so complete and will give me a whole new level of experience whenever I read the original books once again.
